Statistical data is always useful - but imagine the combined advantage of combining data with a visual overview of where defects occur. e.g. it may be that a certain component is used throughout a product, but issues have only occurred in one corner - this could be due to a handling issue, etc...

Process control is a key part of any production facility. With Track and Tag any information can be 'tagged' to a product serial number (e.g. a material batch number). Later reports can show if a particular event / material / process variable played any part in the level of quality.
Track and Tag is also useful for recording Changes or specific action applied to a product - e.g. Which software version was loaded to a product.
